In every nation, there comes a time when its youth must look back in order to see forward - when their path of self-discovery crosses the one where wisdom was left behind by generations before them.

Uzbekistan has always carried a legacy shaped by scholars, researchers, poets, and explorers. Yet, in today's fast-changing world, this legacy might seem distant, hidden beneath the fast pace of modern life.

Inheritance (Meros) — one of TALIMY's core projects — was born from a powerful conviction: the

past lives within us, waiting to be rediscovered.

Inheritance is a project that aims to reintroduce Uzbek youngsters to the intellectual brilliance of our ancestors — not in a traditional textbook or dusty-archive way, but through accessible learning that sparks curiosity. It is a project that takes you to the past with purpose and brings you back with lessons and stories that matter today.

Uzbekistan's scientific heritage is not only impressive but also world-changing. From the meticulous calculations of Al-Khwarizmi, whose work led to the birth of algebra, to the precise observations of Al-Beruni, who measured the Earth's radius with remarkable accuracy, our ancestry includes some of the brightest minds of global civilization.

And yet, many young people know these figures only as names in the textbooks they skim through in

a classroom. Their stories, questions, and struggles remain mostly untold.

"Inheritance" is set to change that.

The project will revolve around the research and original works of many great scholars. Their contributions will be reintroduced in a language that is easy to understand. As we flip through the pages of the journal, we will be reminded of our geniuses - and discover recent ones as well. Most importantly, this journal will inspire every young person to explore, discover, and ask "Why?"

One of the key elements of Inheritance is its commitment to accessibility. Research should not lie untouched in libraries or archives. It should reach the hands of every curious mind, regardless of where they study or live.

Projects often talk about innovation, progress, and moving forward. However, Inheritance is different.

It moves forward by first looking back. It recognizes that real development begins when we understand where we come from and how far we have already traveled.

By connecting young people to researchers from our past and present, Inheritance shows that curiosity is not new. Ambition is not new. Scientific initiative is not new. These have always been part of our identity.

Today, the tools we use are different, the questions are more complex, but the essence remains the same. Inheritance will pass the torch of discovery and innovation once held by Khwarizmi, Beruni, and Ulug bek to the youth of today.

As Inheritance grows into something greater, its mission will remain clear: to strengthen the ties between Uzbekistan's present and its past. The students reading the journal today will become tomorrow's leaders, scientists, and innovators. Someone will look at Khwarizmi's equations and find a passion for mathematics. Others will read about Ulug'bek's findings and feel inspired to study the stars.

Everyone will understand that greatness once grew from the very soil beneath their feet.

Inheritance does not live in the past. It carries the light forward.

Through Inheritance, TALIMY will ensure that this light reaches every student, every school, and every

young person ready to embrace it.
